Miragua
is founded by myself, Willem De Meerleer, in 2000.
We are specialised in underwater video productions and based in Lanzarote,
one of the main 7 Canary Islands.
We offer underwater videos as a beautiful memory for the divers visiting
Lanzarote.
We
also deliver underwater footage from our video image archive and offer
custom video productions.
Further we organise underwater video courses and a yearly seminar.
Experience, study and investments have made it happen that we now
are an all round media producion company.
But the most important ingredient is still there, our passion for
the underwater world.

Cameraman - Willem De Meerleer
Willem is Belgian and was fascinated by the underwater world since
he was a child.
After having sailed across the Atlantic Ocean he started a career
as dive instructor in different parts of the world.
He followed a seminar on underwater videography and gathered a lot
of experience and knowledge about the subject.
In 2000 he decided to specialize, on a professional basis, in underwater
video production.
One year later I became a qualified PADI underwater video instructor.

several years.
We have and supplied underwater footage for television broadcast filmed
underwater for different production companies.
We made successful promotion videos for businesses and produced
a respected documentary about the island of Lanzarote.
